January 7, 2010 - Subjective, a blind collaboration between Becca Bernstein and Gwenn Seemel, opens at PCC Sylvania's North View Gallery in Portland, OR. Reception is January 13th. December 10th- 20th, 2009 - Becca Bernstein invited to exhibit paintings in a benefit show for the Lake Oswego Arts Council, 535 B Ave, Lake Oswego, OR. Hours 12-4 daily. April 3, 2009 - Becca Bernstein receives an artist grant from the Puffin Foundation. March 10- May 30, 2009 - Becca Bernstein is invited as a guest artist and juror to the juried show at Kingstad Gallery in Beaverton, Oregon. The show is titled Subject:Object and will include around 30 paintings by Bernstein, along with works from many multi-media artists. Opening reception on March 19, 6-8:30. March 1-April 30, 2009 - Village Ballroom group show in Portland, Oregon. Closing reception on April 30th, 7pm. February 5, 2009 - Becca Bernstein is invited to show work at the Broderick Gallery's juried show, benefiting Street Yoga, a non-profit organization that brings yoga and wellness to homeless youth. First Thursday reception on the 5th. Valentine champagne reception on February 14th. Show ends March 7th. January 31, 2009 - "Self Portrait," a painting by Becca Bernstein is included in the group exhibit and art exchange at Milepost 5, curated by TJ Norris. Party with special guest stars and the dozens of participating artists is 6-10pm at 900 NE 91st Ave in Portland. Open to the public, but no art sales. January 23, 2009 - "Will," a painting by Becca Bernstein is included in the Celebration of Light benefit auction for Montessori Institute NW, at the North Star Ballroom in Portland, OR. January 17, 2009 - Becca Bernstein is exhibiting work in the group show, Fire and Ice at Broderick Gallery. November 28, 2008 - Becca Bernstein is included in the Small Works Show at the Phoenix Gallery in Park City, Utah. October 27, 2008 - Becca Bernstein is asked to present her art at the national conference for The Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), an innovative movement towards holistic care for seniors. October 24, 2008 - Painting by Becca Bernstein is selected by the NPA for their client gifts. October 20, 2008 - Becca Bernstein is invited to lecture at Portland State University. October 19, 2008 - Willamette Week selects A Brief History as a Visual Arts "Pick." October 9, 2008 - A Brief History gets a glowing review by Celina Monte in the Daily Vanguard. October 2, 2008 - A Brief History opens at the Littman Gallery. Becca Bernstein, Elise Mravunac and Gwenn Seemel team up for an introspective retrospective in three parts. The gallery is located at Portland State University's Smith Center. September 1, 2008 - Becca Bernstein is selected by Southwest Art Magazine as an artist to watch in their annual review of emerging artists. April 1, 2008 - Becca Bernstein is listed in Art in America Magazine, p. 182, for her awards. March, 2008 - Two paintings, "Summer" and "Debra" by Becca Bernstein are auctioned to benefit the Oregon Jewish Museum. February 4, 2008 - Becca Bernstein receives a Regional Arts and Culture Council public art installation grant for her installation "The Last Room", exhibited in the lobby of the Portland Building. February 2, 2008 - Becca Bernstein's exhibit of "Keyhole Miniatures" opens at Gottlieb Gallery. October 15, 2007 - Becca Bernstein receives a 2007 George Sugarman Foundation Grant for socially conscious artists.
